This pizza dough will have you making hot and fresh pizzas straight out of the oven and into your mouth.
You will need:






250 grams flour + extra for dusting(I use a mix of whole wheat & all purpose)
½ teaspoon salt
160 ml lukewarm water
3.5 grams yeast (1 tsp)
¼ teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil

Combine water, yeast and sugar; set aside for 5-10 minutes to activate.

Sift together the flour and salt in a bowl.

Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.

Knead for 8-10 minutes to form a smooth and elastic dough.

Divide into 2 portions and roll into balls.

Coat with some oil and place in an oiled bowl.

Cover with plastic wrap or damp kitchen towel.

Rest for 2-3 hours or till the dough is double in size.
Assembly

Preheat your oven, along with a pizza stone or a tray to cook the pizza. Line another flat tray with baking paper and set it aside.

Tip out the proved dough onto a well-floured worktop. Begin to stretch out your dough, working from the centre to the edges. Alternatively, you could use a rolling pin.

Once you have your desired crust (0.5 - 1 cm thickness), transfer it onto the baking paper lined tray. Spread out the dough again if it shrinks a little.

Dress with your favourite toppings.

Transfer the pizza along with the baking paper onto the hot pizza stone/tray in the oven. Bake at 220°C for about 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
