I love cheesecake and I love Oreos. What better than combining them into one delicious dessert?
1 hour Serves 3-4
You will need:
14 Oreo cookies
2 tablespoons butter, melted
225 grams cream cheese (at room temperature)
¼ cup castor sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 tablespoon hung yogurt

Preheat your oven. Grease bottom of a loose-base cake tin and line with baking paper.

Crush 10 whole Oreo cookies to fine crumbs. Add in melted butter and mix.

Press firmly into the base of cake tin using a spoon/spatula.

Beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl for 2-3 minutes.

Add in the egg and hung yogurt and whisk again till well combined.

Add in 4 Oreos, crushed coarsely, and mix with a spoon.

Transfer cheesecake mix into the cake tin. Bake at 170°C for 25-30 minutes.

Cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight.

Cut into slices/squares and serve cold.
